Highlights: Zombies have been spotted in PUBG Mobile beta version 0.10.5. The zombies are situated in a tunnel on Erangel map's spawn area. After spotting mysterious dead bodies and zombie blood in PubG Mobile, zombies seem like an imminent threat to the players parachuting down in Erangel island. Now, new leaked videos hint at a special map where you can kill zombies. The information was leaked by YouTubers Mr. Ghost Gaming and Allthenewsisgoodnews who released some videos showing the zombie update. On the PubGMobile 0.10.5 Beta, there are zombies in the waiting area in Erangel, inside the tunnel. We dared to go down to get a close look at the living dead and saw a lone zombie walking around inside the tunnel, but you can’t go near it as the area is fenced off. Tencent did announce a partnership with Capcom for Resident Evil 2, but both companies have been silent on what that this partnership entails. However, there are strong signs that the next PubG Mobile update will introduce a special map where you can kill zombies. The two YouTubers also reportedly datamined PubG assets to show the special map. However, YouTuber Mr. Ghost Gamer noted that zombies may not eventually come with the latest update. Tencent might hold it off till 0.11.0 or beyond. However, with the Resident Evil 2 game due to release on January 25, now seems to be the best time for the update to arrive. A past report claimed the update will arrive between January 18 to January 20. The PubG Mobile 0.10.5 update will usher in the fifth Royale Pass season. There will be new costumes, skins and hairstyles to choose from and some of them are expected to be in line with the zombie theme. There could be a new form of redemption system too where players can trade UC (Unknown Cash), which is the currency in PubG in exchange for Battle Points or BP. According to the leaked info, 50UC will give 500BP. The latest update is also set to introduce a rickshaw or Tukshai in Sanhok map, along with a new death cam to show how a player died in the match. Additionally, there might be a new weapon called MK 47 Mutant, and its laser sight attachment. Erangel and Miramar might also get dynamic weather which might introduce rains in the maps. Thankfully, Tencent also teased the return of the classic voice commands after the toned-down versions in the current update has been ridiculed by many.
