New Apple iPhone XI render hints at horizontally aligned triple rear camera setup, smaller notch

Highlights: New renders of the upcoming Apple iPhone hint at a horizontally aligned triple camera setup. The new images hint at another 2019 iPhone model. The phone is seen featuring a smaller notch.   Apple is expected to announce its 2019 lineup of iPhones in September and it is speculated that it will announce three models this time as well. However, Digit already gave you an idea of how one of the upcoming iPhone will look like via our exclusive renders. Now, @OnLeaks has collaborated with CompareRaja to bring another set of renders, giving a look at another upcoming iPhone model that is also shown with a triple-rear camera setup. Going by the image, the first thing one notices about the handset is its centrally placed horizontal rear camera setup with an LED ring in the middle. There seem to be three sensors but the LED ring makes it difficult to make out the one placed in the center, below which is a mic as well. The power button is seen on the right and volume rocker are still placed on the device’s left edge, below the notification switcher key, and OnLeaks says that at-least as of now, this prototype features a Lightning port. Here comes your very first and very early look at yet another 2019 #iPhone prototype! OnLeaks already told us that the upcoming iPhones are currently in Engineering Validation Test (EVT) phase and Apple might make some changes before the handsets are eventually launched in September 2019. Additionally, we know that Apple is planning to launch three iPhones in September 2019 - a low-end variant, possibly the successor to the iPhone XR and two high-end variants, succeeding the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max. So, there is a possibility that the image obtained by us of the Apple iPhone XI with three cameras aligned in a non-linear fashion could be of the top-most handset succeeding the iPhone XS Max, while the new renders could be of the iPhone XS successor. You might have also noticed that the notch on the new model sees to be slightly smaller than its predecessor.  A previous report by Bloomberg suggests that Apple might employ long-distance 3D ToF sensor on the 2019 iPhones. This further reaffirms the presence of a triple camera setup on the iPhone renders. Another reports suggest that while the top-end model of the upcoming iPhone may use a triple camera setup, the iPhone XR successor might come equipped with dual-rear cameras.  Related Read: EXCLUSIVE: First look at 2019 Apple iPhone XI renders
