After a good two years since the last graphics cards were launched by NVIDIA, we finally have the Turing based NVIDIA 20-series graphics cards right around the corner. Given all the leaks in the past couple of days include a couple of box arts from the likes of MSI, EVGA, GIGABYTE, ASUS, ZOTAC and even the mother of all leaks from PNY which confirmed all the final specifications of the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080, we’re pretty certain what will be announced at the NVIDIA Gamescom 2018 press conference.

The leaked render for the same was obtained by Videocardz and is pictured below. If this is indeed the reference card or the Founder’s Edition of the RTX 2080 Ti and 2080, then the twin-fan design is not a surprise.
As per the recent leaks, the TDP for the RTX 2080 Ti and the RTX 2080 are both at 285 W which is quite a lot given that previous gen cards would be rated for 180-250W. The added ray-tracing elements are suspected to be power intensive. Aside from the graphics card, NVIDIA will also be announcing some new graphics technology APIs to make use of the new ray-tracing capabilities of the 20-series cards.
