Samsung has finally launched the Samsung Galaxy S23 series along with many other devices at its Unpacked event. Today, we will compare the high-end phones of the latest Samsung Galaxy S23 series and last year’s Samsung Galaxy S22 series. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has a sturdy design.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a similar design to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It comes in a total of seven colours and on the back, it has the same frosted matte panel. There are three big camera rings and two small rings placed on the back, which are cameras and a laser AF. The phone weighs 228g which is less than the weight of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.

This customised chipset is called the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile platform for Galaxy. It comes in three storage options which are 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB and 12GB/1TB. The latest flagship runs on Android 13OS with custom UI 5.1.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 paired with 12GB 256GB, 12GB 512GB and 12GB 1TB. This phone runs on the Android 12 operating system One UI 5 but is upgradeable to Android 13.
Both phones come with a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. Both devices can also be charged wirelessly. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra supports 15-watt fast charging while wireless charging and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra supports 10-watt wireless charging.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra vs Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: DisplayBoth phones share the same display configuration featuring a 6.8-inch curved QHD+ display with a resolution of 3088 x 1440 pixels. They both have a Dynamic AMOLED display which supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The displays also support the S pen. Both of the displays can emit up to 1750 nits of peak brightness.
They have only one difference between them which is the protection of the display. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is protected by Corning’s latest Gorilla Glass Victus 2, whereas, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.

It sports a 12-megapixel selfie shooter.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra vs Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: PriceSamsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has launched at a starting price of ₹1,24,999 for the 12GB/ 256GB variant, ₹1,34,999 for the 12GB/512GB variant and ₹1,54,999 for the top variant which is 12GB/1TB.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is priced at ₹1,09,999 for the base variant. The 1TB variant of the phone will cost you ₹1,25,999
