Apple is reportedly planning to launch two new Apple Watch models, and a new iPad Air this year. The new iPad model and Apple Watches were recently spotted on the EEC.
Citing sources familiar with Apple's plans, Bloomberg reported that one of the two upcoming smartwatches would be an Apple Watch 5 successor and the other one would be a cheaper version replacing Apple Watch 3 in the line-up. The Apple Watch 3 is selling for $200 in the US and Rs 23,900 in India.
The source also revealed that Apple is also developing a new iPad Air with an edge-to-edge iPad Pro-like screen which could be the biggest change in the iPad Air design to date.
Bloomberg's report also goes in line with previous rumours that the Cupertino giant will launch a total of four iPhones this year with OLED displays. The iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max are rumoured to come with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display respectively, whereas the iPhone 12 models (a cheaper iPhone 12 variant will debut this year) will come with a 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch display. The new iPhone 12 is reported to be manufactured in India by 2021.
The upcoming iPhones are rumoured to feature a noticeably larger than the existing iPhone 11 Pro Max's display. That is because the forthcoming iPhones are rumoured to have square edges, similar to the new iPad Pro's design. Also, the iPhone 11 Pro's Midnight Green will be replaced with a dark blue colour.
Here's everything else that Apple might launch this yearApart from these products, Apple is also said to launch a smaller HomePod speaker and the long rumoured over-ear headphones with its own branding. Lastly, Apple is working on a new Apple TV with a faster processor and an upgraded remote, but it's unlikely to be unveiled this year.
Note that all the information about the upcoming iPhones and other Apple products is based on rumours and reports. Apple is yet to confirm these details, so take it with a pinch of salt.
What's confirmed as of now is that the new iPhone launch is delayed by a few weeks. So we still have a month, at least, to wait for Apple's most awaited launch event.
