Redmi 8A reportedly spotted on TENAA with single rear camera

Recently, Redmi launched the Redmi Note 8 series in China. Now, it looks like the company is gearing up to launch the successors of the Redmi 7 series. Redmi may launch the Redmi 8, Redmi 8A and Redmi 8 Pro in the coming weeks. Redmi 8A has been reportedly spotted on TENAA. A Xiaomi phone with the model number M1908C3KE has shown up on the TENAA database. The model is said to be the Redmi 8A.

The TENAA listing has not revealed the specifications of the Redmi 8A. However, it has revealed images of the phone with the model number M1908C3KE. The phone sports a single rear camera with an LED flash. It also features a single selfie shooter. According to the listing, the phone will support 4G LTE connectivity. It is said to pack dual-SIM card slots and run Android 9 Pie. 

The TENAA listing images have revealed the design of alleged Redmi 8A. While one cannot make out much from the front, it looks like the smartphone will sport a notch. Further, the right side of the phone holds the volume rocker as well as a power button. The phone is touted to sport a plastic back panel as well.

To recall, the Redmi 7A features a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 720 x 1440 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset, paired with Adreno 505. It comes in a 2GB and a 3GB RAM variant and up to 32GB of internal storage with a dedicated microSD card slot. The Redmi 7A sports a 13MP single rear camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. It has a 4000mAh battery as well.
