Realme is all set to launch its 64MP smartphone, the Realme XT. The company teased the Realme XT at the launch of the Realme 5 series. Since then, the smartphone maker has hosted a detailed event in China as well as in India, we even got our time to test the smartphone camera, you can check the results here. We now have a release date of the Realme XT. The smartphone will be launching on September 13 in India. However, Realme hasn’t revealed any information about the price and specifications of the device.
The Realme XT is expected to feature a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED panel with a waterdrop notch at the top. It might have an in-display fingerprint scanner as well. The smartphone is tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. It is said to pack a 4000mAh battery.
On the optics front, it is confirmed that the Realme XT will be sporting a 64MP camera made by Samsung. Apart from that, the quad camera is expected to have an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone could have a 16MP front camera for the selfie needs of users.
The smartphone is rumoured to come in three storage variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage. Realme XT is also said to have a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Realme XT is speculated to run ColorOS based on Android 9 Pie. It could launch in two colour variants: Pearl Blue and Pearl White. Realme XT India price is still unknown. We should get more information about the smartphone in the coming days.
