Realme X2 to launch with 64MP camera on September 24 in China

Realme announced the Realme XT last week and teased the launch of Realme XT 730G in December. However, there appears to be a new device coming on September 24. Realme is gearing up to launch its flagship successor, the Realme X2. The smartphone will launch in China in the coming week. A teaser shared by Realme on Weibo confirms that Realme X2 will come with a quad-camera setup with a 64MP unit as the main sensor.

Realme launched the Realme XT in India last week. The company teased a variant of Realme XT with Snapdragon 730G chipset and 30W VOOC Flash Charge. It is highly likely that Realme X2 could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G.

As for the Realme XT, it features a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. The company claims that it has a 91.9 percent screen to body ratio. It is powered by the Snapdragon 712 chipset. The smartphone comes with up to 8GB RAM. It has 64GB and 128GB of internal storage variants, which can be increased by a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone packs a 4000mAh battery that supports 20W VOOC flash charge 3.0 technology.

On the optics front, the Realme XT sports a quad rear camera setup: a primary 64MP camera with a Samsung sensor + an 8MP wide-angle lens + a 2MP macro lens + a 2MP depth sensor. It comes with a USB Type-C port for charging and a 3.5mm audio jack as well.

The Realme XT is priced at Rs 15,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. On the other hand, the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model costs Rs 16,999 and the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs Rs 18,999. It comes in Pearl Blue and Pearl White colour options.
