Realme 5 Pro goes on sale today at 12PM via Flipkart, Realmecom: Price, launch offers and all you need to know

Realme recently launched its new mid range Realme 5 series of smartphones in India, which consist of the Realme 5 and the Realme 5 Pro. The two handsets go up against the likes of Redmi Note 7 series and the Samsung Galaxy M30, which are also mid range smartphones.  While the Realme 5 is a slightly less powerful version of the Realme 5 Pro, both come equipped with a quad-camera setup. While the two handsets share some similar specifications, there are plenty of differences between the two. The Realme 5 Pro goes up for sale for the first time today via Flipkart and Realme.com.

Realme 5 Pro specifications

The Realme 5 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC and comes equipped with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a 90.6 percent screen to body ratio. The display gets a  waterdrop notch display design and it features a Crystal Design back, with options to select from Sparkling Blue and Crystal Green colour options. The smartphone comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage and it is backed by a 4035mAh battery. It sports a Type-C port and supports VOOC 3.0 charging.

In terms of optics, the Realme 5 Pro sports a quad camera setup on the back that consists of a 48MP primary Sony IMX586 sensor, along with a 2MP portrait lens with f/2.4 lens and a 2MP camera with f/2.4 macro lens. There’s also an 8MP ultrawide angle lens with f/2.25 aperture lens and 119 degree field of view. On the front sits a 16MP Sony IMX471 with an f/2.0 aperture, similar to the Realme X.

Realme 5 Pro price, launch offers and availability

The Realme 5 Pro comes in three variants. Its 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model is priced at Rs 13,999, while its 6GB RAM + 64GB version costs Rs 14,999. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 16,999. As mentioned earlier, the handset will go up for sale at 12PM on September 4 via Realme.com and Flipkart.

For launch offers, Jio users will get to avail benefits worth Rs 7,000 with the Realme 5 Pro, along with a no-cost EMI for six months. One can also avail up to Rs 2,000 cashback when paying via Paytm UPI and get free Paytm First membership worth Rs 750 for free when purchasing the handsets from realme.com.
