The guys over at PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds recently announced the launch of PUBG Lite Beta. It’s a free-to-play version of the popular battle royale game it is aimed at computers with less-powerful hardware. Now though, it seems like Jio subscribers will get a little bit extra. The telecom operator has partnered with the developers to offer subscribers a unique gift, in the form of in-game merchandise.
In order to avail the in-game freebies, Jio subscribers will have to visit https://ift.tt/2LfxvP1 and fill up a registration form. Subscribers will then receive a verification link on their registered email ID. Once verified, they will then receive another mail, which will contain the unique redemption code. This code can be entered in-game to claim free items.
In order to use the code, subscribers will have to open the game and head over to the Menu Store. Then they have to open the ‘Add Bonus/Gift Code’ option and add the code in the field and click on redeem.
PUBG Lite was released in India, as well as the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and other regions earlier this month. As mentioned before, it is a free-to-play title aimed at low-end devices.
