LG has been teasing the launch of its W-series of smartphones in India, on Amazon. While the company is yet to reveal major details of its upcoming handsets, rumours suggest that there could be three phones in the upcoming lineup. The base version in the lineup could be called LG W10 and while unconfirmed, the more powerful versions might be launched as the W20 and W30. A new live image of the W10 was spotted online, which reveals the handsets rear-panel design, along with some other features. The device can be seen equipped with dual-rear camera setup and there’s also a fingerprint sensor on the back.
The handset sports an LG logo at the bottom of the rear panel and a 3.5mm audio jack is also present. The supposed LG W10 handset is purple in colour and features a glossy finish on the back. The dual primary camera sensors are vertically aligned but there’s no info on what is their configuration. The new W-series by LG will be reportedly priced under the Rs 15,000 bracket. If this turns out to be true, the company might be taking on the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Realme 3 Pro and other handsets that are priced around the same range.
In a separate leak, a couple of images of the LG phone were posted online that showed off its design from the front. From the front, the handset looks like any other standard phone that features a waterdrop notch display design. Previously posted teasers of the phone on Amazon India’s website reveal a single front camera sensor. “AI-enabled triple rear cameras bring to you the Power of 3 lense to maximise your photography experience with normal, Front Camera Selfie, Night Mode, Portrait, Bokeh and Wide Angle image capabilities,” LG says in its teaser.
