Powering the Matebook X Pro are Intel’s 8th generation processors, configurable up to an Intel Core i7-8565U. For graphics, Huawei is offering discrete graphics through the Nvidia GeForce MX250. For connectivity, the Matebook X Pro comes equipped with full-bandwidth Thunderbolt 3.0 ports. In addition to the refresh of the Huawei Matebook X Pro, the company also announced two new laptops; the Matebook 13 and the Matebook 14. The Matebook 13 was first shown at CES 2019. The two laptops feature a screen to body ratio of 90 percent. The displays have a 2K+ resolution, 100 percent sRGB coverage. The Matebook 13 and Matebook 14 can be configured with up to an Intel Core i7-8565U, but only the Matebook 14 will come with Nvidia’s GeForce MX250 with 2GB of VRAM. However, they do offer a USB 2.0, a USB 3.0 and a USB-C port along with a built-in HDMI 2.0 port for connecting external displays. The Matebook series of laptops also feature a number of software innovations, like OneHop, a feature which allows you to transfer files back and forth between the Matebook and Huawei’s smartphones with just a tap.
