The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 with a 48MP rear camera and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor is going on sale in China from today. The phone is a successor to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6. We are comparing it with the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, which is starting from Rs 12,999 in India and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, same as the Redmi Note 7. Let’s begin with a quick specs comparison between the two devices to understand better. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 sports a 6.3-inch display, while the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 features a 6.26-inch display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 offers a better resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels than the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, which offers a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. Both the smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, which is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. Coming to the cameras, one of the main highlights of Xiaomi's latest device is the 48MP rear camera, which is coupled with a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, they equipped a 16MP AI based sensor. On the other hand, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has a 13MP unit on the front, same as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 but has a dual 12MP + 5MP unit at the back. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has not been launched in India yet. However, the phone has already gone on sale today in China hence there are chances that it may come to India very soon. On the other side, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is starting from Rs 12,999 in India.
