Highlights: LG G8 renders, 360-degree video leaked. The phone may launch at MWC. It has two cameras each on the front and back.   LG will reportedly launch multiple smartphones at the upcoming MWC in Barcelona. Within the entire phone line-up, it could also launch the rumoured LG G8 - the press renders and a 360-degree of which have now been leaked. Leaked by OnLeaks, in association with 91mobiles, the renders show the phone carrying a glass sandwich design with two cameras each on back as well as on the front. There LG G8 has subtle changes from its predecessor, the the G7+ ThinQ. According to the renders, the camera module on the back is placed horizontally in the centre and it could launch sans the Laser Autofocus. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back with LG branding a the bottom. On the front, a pair of cameras is seen, which could be the same as the one found on the V40 ThinQ. Codenamed Alpha, the device is likely to sport a 6.1-inch display with a conventional notch, delivering an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone is seen featuring a USB Type-C port, loudspeaker grille, a 3.5mm audio socket and the antenna bands at the bottom edge. On the right side, there are the power button and SIM tray, while on the left are the volume buttons and a dedicated button to summon the Google Assistant. There is an additional hole on the left side right above the volume button, which could be an additional microphone. LG G8 is rumoured to be equipped with ‘sound on display’ speakers that would be similar to an under-display cantilever-conduction speaker. Citing a source, OnLeaks has confirmed the presence of the technology on the smartphone. This technology uses vibration and bone conduction to create sound directly from the display making the speaker redundant. There is no word on which processor will the phone flaunt, it could be the Snapdragon 855 chipset.
