Lenovo also announced Legion M500 RGB Gaming Mouse, Legion K500 RGB Mechanical Keyboard and more accessories Lenovo refreshed its Legion Y700 and Y500 series of gaming laptops and also announced a bunch of new devices ahead of CES 2019. The company unveiled its Legion Y27gq and Y44w monitors that are aimed at gamers. The Legion Y44w is a curved ultra-wide monitor that offers a panoramic view and is said to offer a smooth gameplay experience, thanks to its 144Hz refresh rate and AMD Radeon FreeSync technology. The Legion Y27gq might not look like a fancy monitor but it does have a high screen refresh rate of 240Hz. The company also announced some gaming accessories like its Legion M500 RGB Gaming Mouse, Legion K500 RGB Mechanical Keyboard, Legion H300 Stereo and H500 Pro 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset. Lenovo Legion Y44w The Legion Y44w is a 43.4-inch curved display ultra-wide monitor with 3840 x 1200p resolution and max brightness of 450 nits. It offers a panoramic field of view and 144Hz refresh rate, along with VESA Certified DisplayHDR 400 coupled with AMD Radeon FreeSync 2 technology. The monitor features a 1800R curvature and sports a 32:10 aspect ratio with a touted response time of four-milliseconds. It also comes with a detachable Harman Kardon speaker, which can be plugged into its base and offers one USB Type-C port at 5Gbps, one USB Type-C port at 10Gbps, an audio jack, two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort connector, and a USB hub with four Type-A ports (5Gbps). The display is based upon a WVA panel that supports 178-degree viewing angles, 99 percent of the sRGB, BT.709, and DCI-P3 colour spaces. The monitor will be available in the US in April at a price of $1,119.99 (Rs 78,372 approx). Legion Y27gq The Legion Y27gq is a 27-inch monitor with 2560 x 1440p resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. It comes integrated with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology to reduce flickering or screen tearing that synchronizes the display’s refresh rate with a GeForce-branded GPU’s output. The display is built upon a TN panel which should deliver high brightness level and a surprisingly fast 0.5ms response time. It also comprises of a detachable Harman Kardon speaker at its base and offers one HDMI port and a DisplayPort connector. The Y27gq is a TÃœV Eye certified device as well, thanks to low blue light level and flicker-free viewing. The Legion Y27gq monitor is slated to arrive in April for $999.99 (Rs 69,975 approx). Lenovo Legion M500 RGB Gaming Mouse and Legion K500 RGB Mechanical Keyboard Lenovo also announced a couple of gaming accessories like the Legion M500 RGB Gaming Mouse and the K500 RGB Mechanical Keyboard. The M500 gaming mouse comes equipped with the Pixart PMW 3389 sensor that features 16,000 dpi, 50g 400 IPS tracking and OMRON micro switches. The gaming mouse sports additional programmable side buttons. Coming to the K500 RGB Mechanical Keyboard, the device is said to deliver “ultra-fast response time that can only be found in red switches and anti-ghosting with 104-key rollover for more precise combinations and moves.” The Lenovo Legion M500 RGB Gaming Mouse and the K500 RGB Mechanical Keyboard are priced at $59.99 (Rs 4,200 approx) and $99.99 (Rs 7,000 approx) respectively. The two gaming accessories should be ready for shipping starting April 2019. Lenovo Legion H300 Stereo and H500 Pro 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset Lenovo says that the Legion H300 Stereo Gaming Headset is designed for long gaming sessions. It features an all-metal design and comes equipped with dynamic 50mm drivers. On the other hand, the Legion H500 Pro 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset features driverless 7.1 surround sound. The two headsets offer retractable boom mics as well. Lenovo has priced the Legion H300 Stereo Gaming Headset at $59.99 (Rs 4,200 approx), while the Lenovo Legion H500 Pro 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset is priced starting at $99.99 (Rs 7,000 approx) and should be available in the US starting April 2019.
