Motorola One Power could soon join the ranks of the smartphones that have got the Android Pie 9.0 update. The smartphone was seen listed on Geekbench running Android Pie OS, which suggests that a stable update could soon be rolled out to it. Google’s Pixel devices, a couple of Nokia-branded smartphones and some OnePlus handsets are among the handful of phones that have already got the update while several of other OEMs have either rolled out or are planning to release beta versions of the update to their devices. According to the listing, the Motorola One Power running on Android Pie scored 1,274 points on single-core and 4,508 points multi-core tests. Notably, these scores are less than what the smartphone scored when it ran on Android 8.1 Oreo. In our review, Motorola One Power scored 1,330 points in the single-core test and 4,961 points in the multi-core test. This means that Motorola engineers have to tweak the software according to the device so that it can work on its full potential when upgraded to a higher OS number.
