Vivo has been on a launch spree as in a couple of months, it launched the Vivo V9, V11 and Z3i smartphones. The Chinese vendor has now launched another smartphone in its Z-series, called the Vivo Z3 in China. The Vivo Z3 comes in three different variants; the first comes runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
The other two variants are powered by the Snapdragon 710 processor with 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage. The Vivo Z3 variant with Snapdragon 670 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at CNY 1,598 (approx Rs. 16,900), while the 6GB/64GB storage Snapdragon 710 model will be available at CNY 1,898 (approx Rs. 20,100).
The third variant with Snapdragon 710, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 2,298 (approx Rs. 24,400) in China. The smartphone comes with a waterdrop notch 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a 1080x2280p resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.
The company says that the device comes with a 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The device's internal storage is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card and it features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone runs on Funtouch OS atop Android 8.1 Oreo and the whole package is powered by a 3315mAh battery. In terms of optics, the Vivo Z3 comes equipped with a dual-camera setup on the back.
It features a 16MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP secondary lens with f/2.4 aperture. On the front is a 12MP dual-pixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The device supports Face Unlock feature and is said to detect 1,204 facial features using an infrared light to unlock the screen.
The smartphone comes with the Jovi smart voice assistant and the cameras are said to have Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered selfie-focused features.
