Thanks to numerous leaks and rumours, we know almost everything there is to know about the upcoming OnePlus 6T. However, TrueTech claims that a company representative confirmed to them that the OnePlus 6T will have a special night mode for better low-light photography. Till now, there has not been a night-mode setting in OnePlus’ camera app and this could turn out to be a first for the company. The new setting is said to improve the phone’s capabilities to capture images in low-light conditons. As per the report, the device’s camera app will also be tweaked to work in tandem with the hardware for enabling users to capture photos with “ample clarity and sharpness, with a good dark-to-light contrast, and negligible noise.” There are still no details as to how the new night mode feature will operate and we already came to know in our review that the OnePlus 6's camera performance is not too great. However, some other information about the phone is already confirmed like the presence of an in-display fingerprint sensor and that it will be launched running on the latest Android 9 Pie OS. The company says that the device will get a “whole new UI” for OxygenOS with improved navigation gestures. The headphone jack will not be present on the handset and it’s most likely to run on the Snapdragon 845 SoC. OnePlus 6T is rumoured to feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED ‘waterdrop’ notch display with a 2340x1080p resolution. The smartphone was recently spotted on Geekbench with 8GB RAM and is expected to offer a 6GB model as well, with 64GB/128GB/256GB storage options. The phone is already up for preorders via Amazon.in and those who pre-order it will get to avail free OnePlus Type-C Bullets earphones and Rs 500 Amazon Pay Balance. The offer is listed under the Gift Cards section of “Today’s Deals” on Amazon and it suggests that it’s a part of the “OnePlus 6T Pre-Book GC Sale,” which is being hosted between October 9 - October 30.
