Alienware has launched its thinnest gaming laptop yet – the M15. The laptop weighs 2.16 kgs and is slightly heavier than the Razer Blade which weighs 2.10kgs. Speaking of the specifications of the laptop, users get the latest eighth-gen Intel processor with the option of either a quad-core Core i5-8300H or a six-core i7-8750H with up to 32GB of RAM. On the graphics front, users get the option of either the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 OC or 1070 Max-Q graphics cards. For the display users will have the choice of a 60Hz FHD display, a 144Hz FHD panel, and a 60Hz UHD display. The design of the new Alienware M15 is a departure from the design language we have seen on previous Alienware laptops. The new M15 gaming PC brings with it slimmer bezels, a reduced footprint, and has an overall more appealing look than the chunky design of its predecessors. The display also shaves off some of the bezels. Despite the 15-inch formfactor, the laptop manages to give users a full-size number pad on the keyboard. Speaking of the keyboard it has been updated to sport chiclet style keys. As far as connectivity options are concerned, the laptop has three USB ports, one USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port, HDMI and Mini DisplayPorts, Ethernet, and Alienware’s proprietary Graphics Amplifier plug. Alienware products have been about being gaming focused first but with the new design, it looks like we will finally have an Alienware device that can double up as a productivity machine as well thanks to its slim design and reduced weight. The Alienware M15 will be available in the US from October 25th starting at $1,099 (Rs 81,000 approx. directly converted).
