Coolpad Note 8 with 599-inch display, MediaTek 6750T SoC and 4000 mAh battery launched for Rs 9,999 in India

Almost two months after launching the budget device, the Coolpad Mega 5A, in India, Coolpad has now unveiled the Coolpad Note 8 smartphone in the country. 

The handset is now available on Paytm mall at a price of Rs 9,999 in Black colour. It sports a 4000mAh battery, Face Unlock feature and a rear dual-camera setup. The Coolpad Note 8 is the next Note-branded smartphone after the Coolpad Note 6 (Review) that the company had launched in May this year. 

Coolpad Note 8 Specifications The Coolpad Note 8 features a 5.99-inch full-HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080x2160 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MTK6750T processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The processor is paired with MaliT860-MP2 GPU, and has 4GB RAM and 64GB local storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated MicroSD slot. 

The Dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and the company says that the phone also supports touch control gestures to customise quick launch shortcuts. In the camera department, the Coolpad Note 8 has a vertically-aligned rear dual-camera setup with a 16MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and autofocus, and the other 0.3MP sensor. There is an LED flash on the right of the camera enclosure and there is a fingerprint sensor just below it the two lenses which is claimed to unlock the smartphone in just 0.2 seconds. 

The front shooter has an 8MP 4P lens with f/2.2 aperture. The Coolpad Note 8 packs a 4,000mAh battery, which the company claims can offer up to 200 hours of standby time, and up to 8 hours of talk time.
