Even before the festivities began this year, Flipkart, Amazon and Paytm Mall concluded their once-a-year festive sales. Now, Amazon is back with "Wave 2" of it’s Great Indian Festival, and is promising even better launches, deals and offers this time. The new sale will kick off on 12 AM on October 24 and go on till 11:59 PM, October 28. To make the sale more enticing for buyers, the online retailer will be offering no-cost EMI on Bajaj Finserv EMI card, debit and credit cards and special exchange benefits. ICICI and Citi cardholders will get to encash an additional 10 percent discount on their purchases and all new customers will get free delivery on their first order. Buyers from Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, and Hyderabad will also get 2-hours delivery on popular deals via the Prime Now app. During the sale, the online retailer will be offering deals across various categories like smartphones, large appliances and TVs, home and kitchen products, fashion, consumables like grocery and beauty, consumer electronics and more. Ahead of the sale, Amazon has revealed the discount that will be offered on some of the categories. The Xiaomi Redmi 6A will be on flash sale every day at 12 PM during the sale and TVs will be discounted by up to 60 percent. Some Amazon devices will also be on sale at discounted prices like the Fire TV Stick and 3rd generation Echo devices. Customers can get to avail up to 70 percent off on devices with Alexa integration and some new product will be launched under speakers and headphones category during the sale. Kindle eBook bestsellers will be priced starting at Rs 19 and Kindle Unlimited will be available for Rs 1,499, down from Rs 2,388. “After an overwhelming wave 1 of our Great Indian Festival, we are excited to usher in wave 2 for all customers. We will continue to offer the best selection and biggest deals on our entire selection – from the most sought after smartphones, TVs, appliances to fashion, home & kitchen products, consumer electronics and more,” says Manish Tiwary, Vice President – Category Management, Amazon India. Products under Amazon Fashion category will get up to 90 percent off, along with an extra 15 percent cash back. On Home and Kitchen products, one will get to avail up to 80 percent off with an extra 10 percent cash back and there’s up to 80 percent off on appliances and more. Finally, one will be able to unlock Amazon Pay offers of up to Rs 2,000 on select Amazon Pay partner merchants like Swiggy, MakeMyTrip, Freshmenu and Eazydiner by shopping on the Amazon shopping app and paying through any online payment method.
