Xiaomi is sending out media invites for a launch event that will take place on September 27. As per the invite and the company’s recent Twitter posts, Xiaomi will launch five new smart devices in India. One can easily deduce four out of the five products that the company will soon launch from the invite itself.
One can expect a new smart TV by Xiaomi that supports voice commands, an IoT enabled surveillance camera, a new fitness tracker and an air purifier. As for the fifth device, it could be a suitcase that the company already sells in China. Just an hour before writing this article, Xiaomi tweeted out an image with the caption that says, “Mi fans! We know you're smart at spotting things.
Can you spot them all? Surprise gift up for grab! Hint - There are more than 4 #SmarterLiving.” All the aforementioned five devices have been outlined in the image, as per which, we guess that the smart TV hidden in plain sight could be the Mi TV 4X that was launched in China back in May. The TV features a 55-inch 4K Ultra HD display panel and comes with the company’s AI-based voice command features. The IoT enabled surveillance camera could be the Mi Home smart camera that can capture videos by turning 360 degrees, while the new fitness tracker seems to be the Mi Band 3.
The air purifier spotted in the image seems to be the MiJia Air Purifier Pro that features an OLED display to show the current air quality in the room. Finally, the last device is tipped to be the Xiaomi Trolley 90 Points Suitcase, however the company has various models in this category and could also launch its other variant. It should be noted that Xiaomi has not confirmed any of the products yet and this is currently speculation on our part.
