The Xiaomi Redmi 6A smartphone that was launched a couple of weeks ago is now going up for purchase via Amazon and Mi.com at 12 PM today. The device was recently launched alongside the Redmi 6 and the Redmi 6 Pro and it’s the successor to the company’s last year’s entry-level smartphone, the Redmi 5A. Xiaomi aims to capture the market by packing features of a mid-range smartphone into the Redmi 6A like Face Unlock, an 18:9 display aspect ratio, dual VoLTE and more. Xiaomi Redmi 6A Specifications The Redmi 6A features a brushed metallic finish on the rear panel and features an ‘arc’ design, which is said to make it easier to hold.
The device features a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 display aspect ratio. It is powered by a 12nm quad-core Helio A22 processor, which is said to touch max clock speeds of up to 2.0 GHz. Coming to the camera, the Redmi 6A comes equipped with a 13P single sensor on the rear that supports Phase Detection Autofocus and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS).
