The most powerful variant of the three devices, the Redmi 6 Pro is going up for sale today, just a day after the Redmi 6. The Redmi 6 Pro is the company’s first Redmi smartphone in India to come equipped with a ‘notched’ display and like many other devices, it comes with an option to hide the notch.

There’s three months of free Hungama Music subscription for everyone who buys the Redmi 6 Pro and HDFC credit/debit card customers can get to avail Rs 500 off on the purchase. Redmi 6 Pro Specifications The Redmi 6 Pro features an aluminium built design and comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC and features a 5.84-inch Full HD+ ‘notch’ screen with a 19:9 display aspect ratio. It supports AI Face Unlock as well and runs on MIUI 9.6 based on top of Android Oreo. In terms of optics, the handset features a dual rear camera setup, which supports Electronic Image Stabilization. There is a 12MP Sony IMX 486 primary sensor and a 5MP secondary Samsung sensor on the back, which is the same camera configuration as the Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The handset is backed by a 4000mAh battery that the company claims can deliver up to 16.5 hours of video playback. In our review of the Redmi 6 Pro, we said, “The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro introduces the notch to the entry-level segment, but underneath, it has the old Snapdragon 625 chipset. The phone isn't going to turn heads, but if you're looking for something reliable and functional, the Redmi 6 Pro is a good choice.” You can read our full review of the smartphone here.
