Razer Phone 2 may look a lot like its predecessor: Report

If you were expecting Razer to follow other smartphone manufacturers and bring design changes to their next smartphone, then you might be disappointed. An image of the alleged Razer Phone 2 has leaked and it shows the same design as its predecessor. The image was first shared by Android Headlines.

The website even released a comparison photo keeping the images of both the smartphones side-by-side. According Android Headlines, the phone on the left is the first Razer Phone and the one on the right is the alleged Razer Phone 2. In the image, the bezels on the sides look a bit thicker than the original one.

The front cameras on the speakers are seen on the same spot as they are on the first generation of the phone. Unfortunately, the image show the handset from the front and it cannot be confirmed that the smartphone has the exact same design as its predecessor on the back. Recently, the company announced that it is working on the second-generation of the smartphone.

The device was also spotted on AnTuTu benchmark and on Geekbench with flagship specifications. According to the image shared on AnTuTu.com, the Razer Phone 2 will carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. The gaming smartphone is said to carry the same 5.7-inch Sharp IGZO LCD screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels as its predecessor. Razer Phone 2 is also expected to carry forward the 120hz refresh rate and run on Android 8.1 Oreo. Cover Image: Android Headlines
