Motorola launched two smartphones, the Motorola One and the Motorola Power One, at IFA this year and at the time, the company had announced that the handsets would come to India soon.
The Lenovo-owned company has now given the exact date and says that the the Motorola Power One will launch in India on September 24. The handset may come in 3GB and 4GB RAM models, coupled with 32GB and 64GB internal storage respectively. Yes, it's coming! The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 which is supported by Adreno 509 GPU for graphics. The camera duties are given to 16MP + 5MP dual-rear camera setup with f/2.0 aperture and 1.12μm pixels. On the front, there is an 8MP sensor that supports portrait mode with a f/2.2 aperture. The handset houses a 5000mAh battery and supports the TurboPower charger, which is claimed to deliver up to 6 hours of power in 15 minutes of charging.
The smartphone is enrolled in Google's Android One programme and is bound to get timely software updates and security patches. It will run on Android Oreo and the company has promised to soon roll out the Android 9.0 Pie update for it. Moto recently launched the Motorola P30 Note in China that shares the same specs as the Motorola One Power. Instead of the stock Android interface, the smartphone runs on the ZUI 4.0, which was last seen on now-discontinued Zuk series of smartphones.
