The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is available in two variants: the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant which is available for Rs 14,999 and a 6GB RAM/64GB model, which is priced at 16,999. Going by the availability on Flipkart, the 6GB variant has a high demand and is already out-of-stock. The 4GB variant of the Redmi Note 5 Pro is still up for grabs. To recall, the Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched in February. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chip and is the first Xiaomi smartphone to support Face Unlock.
The device features a 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 display with a 2160 x 1080p resolution. In the camera department, the Redmi Note 5 Pro is equipped with a 12MP (f/2.2 aperture) + 5MP (f/2.0 aperture) dual-rear camera setup on the back. It has a 20MP front shooter with Selfie-light and Beautify 4.0 feature. The phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 4000mAh battery.
Xiaomi recently launched the Mi A2 (Review) in the country. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the Mi A2 is priced at Rs 16,999 and Xiaomi's India Managing Director, Manu Kumar Jain, has announced that the company will soon launch a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant in India. The Xiaomi Mi A2 sale will take place on Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi Home and Mi Preferred Partner Stores starting August 16.
The Mi A2 sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and has been launched under Google’s Android One programme. The fingerprint sensor and a vertically stacked 12MP+20MP dual-camera setup are located on the back. There is a 20MP front camera with Xiaomi's Super Pixel Technology.
