Motorola is expected to unveil some new smartphones at its Chicago HQ event on August 2. One of the devices is speculated to be the Motorola One, which has popped up on TENAA, soon after the Motorola One Power made an appearance on the Chinese certification website. The listing gives a peek into the smartphone’s design and also gives a hint at what hardware it could come with. The images are in line with some previous reports as the Motorola One is seen featuring a glass rear panel.
On the other hand, Motorola One Power is speculated to feature a metal rear panel. Coming to the specifications, the TENAA listing hints at a 6.18-inch ‘notch’ display with a 1080x2246p resolution and a taller 19:9 aspect ratio.
It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 platform and could come in 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB of internal storage options and it should come with a microSD card expansion slot as well. In terms of optics, the device could be equipped with a 16MP + 5 MP dual rear camera setup and come with a 12MP front-facing sensor. It is expected to be launched running on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box and come in Black, Silver and Gold colour models. It could be backed by a 2,820 mAh battery.
As mentioned earlier, the Moto One Power was also recently listed on the TENAA website. Both the smartphones were earlier leaked in renders, comparing them side by side. Going by the image, the two phones look quite similar in terms of design and come with a similar ‘notch’ screen with an edge-to-edge display.
Both the phones are seen featuring an Android One logo branding at the bottom. In terms of specifications, the Moto One Power could feature a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a 2280 x 1080 pixel resolution. Running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 SoC, the device is expected to come with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
It is expected to be a part of the Android One programme with stock Android 8.1 Oreo onboard. The device could be backed by a 3780mAh battery. In the camera department, the phone might sport a 12MP + 5MP dual rear camera with f/1.8 and f/2.0 aperture lens respectively. On the front, it could feature an 8MP sensor with a f/2.2 aperture.
