If you love the yellow fellow, here are the 3 times iPhones launched in a special new colour

There have been very few times that iPhone was blessed with a new colour. This time it’s the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus in a sweet shade of yellow. It is the same iPhone, specs-wise, but in a brand new colourway. So, besides checking out the iPhone 14 features, here we'll take a look at the special iPhone colours we have seen so far.

1. Yellow colour: iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus

iPhone

Apple has introduced the yellow colour option for both iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

Besides the colour, the phones carry the same technical specifications and features as the other coloured models.

That means you get OLED displays, iOS 16, A15 Bionic chipset, 12+12MP rear camera setup, 12MP selfie snapper, 4K60 video recordability from both sides, 15W Magsafe, Face ID, UWB support, among other things. The Plus model has a bigger display and a bigger battery size.

2. Alpine Green: iPhone 13 lineup

The battery and screen size does differ between the two models.

3. Purple: iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini

This was one of the first times we got a special coloured iPhone (excluding Product Red). Both iPhones came with OLED screens, iOS 14.1 (upgradeable to iOS 16.3), an A14 Bionic processor, a 12+12MP duo on the back, 12MP front camera, 4K60 videography from both sides, Face ID, 15W MagSafe, and UWB support.

iPhone 12 primarily differs from iPhone 12 mini in terms of its display and battery size.

4. Product Red

 Product Red

Pretty much all of the recent iPhones have a special Product Red edition. The company says, “Every Apple (PRODUCT)RED purchase contributes to the Global Fund's fight against AIDS and COVID‑19”.
