iQOO 5 Pro real-life pictures leak online ahead of launch on August 17

iQOO 5 Pro along with iQOO 5 is expected to debut on August 17 but it seems like real-life pictures of the iQOO 5 Pro have leaked online giving us a first look at the upcoming phone from Vivo’s sub-brand. The iQOO 5 was also spotted visiting GeekBench on August 13 and confirms some of the earlier rumours about key specifications.

From the leaked pictures, iQOO 5 Pro features a curved display on the front with a punch-hole cutout in the top-left corner of the phone. The rear panel of the phone looks likely to come in a carbon fibre finish along with three cameras housed in a vertical array. If one looks close enough, you will be able to make out a square camera in the rear setup which is the periscope camera system.

On the other hand, iQOO 5 visited GeekBench and is confirmed to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset with upto 12GB of RAM. iQOO 5 is scheduled to launch on August 17 at 2:30 PM CST (12 PM IST) in China. Interestingly, the social media handles of iQOO India have started teasing its fans about a launch on Monday, hinting that iQOO 5 could launch in India sometime soon.

iQOO 5 leaked specifications

iQOO 5 features a curved display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. It has a carbon fibre finish on the back along with a triple camera array. The company has confirmed that the iQOO 5 series will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage options to choose from.

Additionally, we know that the iQOO 5 features a 120Hz refresh rate display and so it's likely the Pro variant will also have then in common. One of the cameras on the back is a periscope lens that offers 5x optical zoom and upto 60x digital zoom while the other one could be a wide-angle camera.

The iQOO 5 series will come with support for 120W fast charging out-of-the-box which the company claims can charge the phone fully in 15 minutes tops.
