It has already been leaked but, cause so many of you asked me to share my own, this is your closest look yet at which I assume #Google will soon launch as #Pixel5. 360° video + official looking 5K renders + dimensions on behalf of my Friends @Pricebaba -> https://t.co/hYFls0hQAJ pic.twitter.com/bpDYfuUTfT
— Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks) August 21, 2020Looking at the pictures, the Pixel 5 has a matte finish on the back which reminds us of previous-generation Pixel phones. The phone seems to come with a flat display and a punch-hole cutout on the top-left corner. The images also reveal the square camera bump on the rear panel that houses three cameras along with an LED flash. There is a fingerprint sensor in the middle as well.
The power button on the Pixel 5 has a glossy finish while the power button below is in a matte finish, the same as the rest of the body. We can also see a Type-C port at the bottom with speaker grills and there’s another unit at the top, just above the display.
The Pixel 5 and 4a 5G have been leaked previously and are likely to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processors. Google has already revealed that the Pixel 4a 5G will start at $499 in the US and the Pixel 5 is rumoured to retail starting at $699. The Pixel 4a 5G is expected to feature a 5.81-inch display which is the same as the Pixel 4a, while the Pixel 5 is expected to come with a larger 6.67-inch screen that offers QHD+ (3300 x 1440 pixels) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Google has also confirmed that the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a will be making their way to 9 countries in the first wave that includes the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan and Australia.
In India, Google is expected to launch the Pixel 4a sometime in October which is when the Indian pricing will be revealed. The Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G, however, won’t be making it to the Indian shores as has been confirmed by the company.
