OnePlus 8 series consisting of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to be launched next month. However, ahead of the launch, new renders of the Pro model have appeared online. The latest leak reveals the phone in a new colour option. The source of the leak is Steve Hemmerstoffer, best known as @OnLeaks on Twitter, and he has partnered with iGeeksBlog this time. The image is said to be the official press renders. It reveals the phone in a light-green colour, which is a first for OnePlus.
The renders reveal a punch-hole display, where the punch-hole notch is situated at the top left corner of the device. We can see minimal bezels on the sides and a bit of chin. On the back lies a quad rear camera. Three of them are situated in a vertical camera module, while the fourth sensor sits above the LED flash. On the bottom lies a speaker and a USB Type-C port. Plus, the button placement seems to be the same as previous OnePlus phones.
According to previous leaks, OnePlus 8 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch Super AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. Further, the smartphone is likely to come with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage.
In the optics department, the OnePlus 8 Pro could sport a quad rear camera setup: 48MP + 48MP + 8MP + 5MP. On the front will lie a 16MP selfie shooter. The smartphone may pack a 4510mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. This time around OnePlus is likely to add 30W wireless fast charging support as well as 3W reverse wireless charging. The phone is tipped to be IP68 rated and come in blue, black and green colour options.
