Sony has released the successor to the WI-1000XM1, the all-new wireless noise-cancelling WI-1000XM2 headphones powered by the HD Noise Cancelling QN1 processor for muting out external distractions. The headphones feature smart listening via Adaptive Sound Control which is capable of auto-adjusting the ambient sound.
Sporting features such as Hi-Res audio support and voice assistant features, the Sony WI-1000XM2 wireless headphones also boast a battery life of up to 10 hours. A nifty Quick Charge feature is also present which provides 80 minutes of playback time with merely 10 minutes of charging.
The headphones come with a flexible soft neckband design and weigh merely 58g. The earbuds, on the other hand, have an angled design to provide users with a comfortable and secure fit. The headphones come equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 and charging is done via a USB Type-C cable.
As mentioned above, hi-res codec support is included for formats such as AAC and LDAC. There's also DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) HX present on these headphones which upscales compressed digital tracks, reportedly, giving users a Hi-res audio experience.
The headphones will be available for purchase from January 6 onwards on major e-commerce sites and Sony Centre at Rs 21,990.
