OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition to be launched alongside regular variant

Last year, OnePlus teamed up with McLaren to release the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition. According to OnePlus, the smartphone sold out across the world in a matter of weeks. Now, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has teased another McLaren edition. It is highly likely that OnePlus 7T Pro will get a special edition. The OnePlus 7T Pro is all set to make its debut tomorrow, October 10, at an event in London.

Lau took to Twitter to release the new teaser. Further, OnePlus’ official Twitter account confirmed that the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition would be launched at the same event. As for the design, it is likely to remain the same as the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition smartphone - orange accents along the edges.

It will be interesting to see what OnePlus brings to the table this time along with a McLaren edition smartphone. To recall, OnePlus 6T McLaren edition introduced us to the 30W Fast Charge that OnePlus chose to call Warp Charge. The smartphone also came with more RAM. Hence, it won’t be a surprise if OnePlus releases 50W fast charge technology with the new McLaren edition smartphone.

As for the specifications, OnePlus 7T Pro is said to have the same display as the OnePlus 7 Pro. It may feature a 6.65-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 3100 pixels. It is tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset. The smartphone could pack a 4000mAh battery. It is expected to run Android 10. It may come with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

In the optics department, the OnePlus 7T Pro may sport a triple rear camera setup: a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture + a 16MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture + an 8MP lens with an f/2.4 aperture. As for selfies, it is said to come with a 16MP front camera.
