Elon Musk is now Daddy DotCom on Twitter, no one knows why

When it comes to serial entrepreneur Elon Musk’s social media handles, one never knows what to expect. The Silicon Valley billionaire and “real-life Iron Man” is known for his antics on Twitter, because of which he has received both the wrath of shareholders and authorities, as well as unprecedented attention of his 27 million followers on the platform. Days after officials from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the US suggested guidelines for social media usage for CEOs (thanks to Musk’s 2018 stunt for which the SEC sued him), Musk has pulled off another random stunt on Twitter. The Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tesla has now changed his name on Twitter to Daddy DotCom. The name change was followed by a Tweet from Musk saying, “Just deleted my Twitter account.”

No one knows why Musk has changed his Twitter name to Daddy DotCom, originally a parenting website for new dads. Moreover, Musk has tweeted that he has deleted his account, but the same is still very much alive. Maybe he’s just having one of his famous "Musk moments".

This isn’t the first time Musk has changed his Twitter name. Back in February, he changed his Twitter credentials to Elon Tusk. Previously, Musk stirred controversy after he was seen smoking Marijuana on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

Musk’s latest Tweet announcing his exit from the platform also attracted many eyeballs. It received a mixed reactions from his followers, some of whom expressed their disbelief, while others requested the Tesla head to “leave already.”

Is Musk actually quitting Twitter? We’re not sure. He did delete the Facebook pages of Tesla and SpaceX back in 2018. Then again, he did once offer to buy and delete Facebook as well.
