Moto G6 Plus starts receiving Android 9 Pie Update

The smartphone maker has announced the rollout of the Android 9 Pie update for the Moto G6 Plus. The update should pop up as a notification for you. If it doesn't, you can go into the settings of your smartphone and manually update it. If you don't see the update, worry not. It will come in the due course of time on your device as update rollouts can be phased. On its official blog, Motorola has said, “Android 9 Pie improves your mobile experience from the new Intuitive Navigation and Recent App, an improved Do Not Disturb mode and a colourful settings menu, to anticipated longer battery life and revamped split screen. Android Pie also brings a redesigned Quick Settings, simplified volume controls, an easier way to manage notifications and more.” You can take a look at all the features coming to the smartphone with the new OS update here.  The Moto G6 Plus currently sells for about Rs 15000 in india and brings with it a 5.9-inch 18:9 display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160. The display is an IPS LCD panel with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 630 platform coupled with either 4GB or 6GB RAM accompanied with 64GB of storage.  Coming to the optics, the smartphone features a dual 12+5MP camera whereas the front has a 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 80-degree lens.  Additionally, the whole package is backed by a 3200 mAh battery that also supports TurboPower charger included in the box. The smartphone sports a Type-C USB port and features the 3.5mm audio jack.
