Highlights: A Samsung phone with model number SM-G970U has appeared on Geekbench The device is speculated to be the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite It is listed with Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6GB RAM and Android Pie While the CES 2019 trade fair is in full swing, other news is flying under the radar and one of them is that of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite popping up on Geekbench. The smartphone was first spotted on Geekbench by Slashleaks. It features the model number SM-G970U and is is listed with 6GB RAM, running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, which is clocked at 1.78GHz. The phone is running on Android 9 Pie and while it may launch with a Snapdragon SoC in the US and other regions, it is most likely to debut on the Samsung Exynos 9820 SoC in India. On the benchmarking website, the device scored 1986 and 6266 in single-core and multi-core tests. Samsung is expected to launch at least three phones under its Galaxy S10 lineup this time, maybe before MWC 2019. The device could launch the standard Galaxy S10, S10 Lite and a S10 Plus variant this time. The Galaxy S10 Lite is speculated to come with a dual rear camera setup and an Infinity-O display with one punch-hole on the front for the camera. The standard and the S10 Plus models could feature triple rear cameras, along with single and dual front-facing shooters respectively. There are also reports of a 5G variant of the phone, which could feature four cameras on the back. Tipster Ice Universe recently tweeted out alleged images of the screen protector for the three variants of Galaxy S10 and also revealed their battery capacity information. As per the tweet, the S10 Lite could feature a 5.8-inch display and might be backed by a 3100mAh battery. The standard S10 model is said to come equipped with a 6.1-inch display and a 3500mAh battery. The S10 plus could feature a 6.4-inch display and sport a 4000mAh battery. The phones are also expected to be launched in different RAM and storage variants.
