Nubias next gaming phone could come with 10GB RAM and dual-sided gaming controller

After launching a phone two touchscreen displays on each side, Nubia is all set to launch a gaming phone that will reportedly tout 10GB of RAM. The phone was teased in a poster on Chinese social networking site Weibo and could reportedly be named New Red Magic. The gaming phone will supposedly come with physical gaming buttons with frame touch technology that relies on four-finger operation, according to a report by GizmoChina. The report also calls the phone as the Red Devil eSport. There will be a linear motor in the phone to allow 4D feedback along with DTS 7.1 sound as well as “3D surround stereo bounce.” It was previously assumed the phone will be called Nubia Red Magic 2. This time, the gaming phone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with 10GB RAM to boot, which is similar to what the new Xiaomi BlackShark Helo has. The internal storage could be up to 256GB. The teaser on Weibo also indicates the phone will have some sort of liquid-cooling as well as air-cooling systems. Further, the phone could come with dual-sided gaming controllers and the GameBox game space that was there on the Red Magic. The phone will reportedly go on sale on November 6 in China and once it does, it will be the third phone this year to sport mammoth 10GB RAM after the Mi Mix 3 and the BlackShark Helo. Nubia is also slated to launch the original Red Magic gaming phone in India sometime in November for under Rs 40,000. The phone’s forte is its gamer-centric design replete with a RGB strip at the back along with Snapdragon 835-powered performance.
