Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is going to be announced soon and it seems like the phone might be leaked entirely before its officially unveiled. We already know that it will feature a sliding display and a dual front camera setup and now, a new Weibo post from a tipster reveals that the phone might be launched running on a newer flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon platform, specifically, the Snapdragon 855. The phone was speculated to launch on the Snapdragon 845 SoC because Qualcomm is yet to announce any newer flagship processor. Additionally, the leak hints at the memory and storage, and battery capacity on the upcoming device. As per the report, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 could come equipped with a 6.4” screen and a previous report suggested that it might be a QHD+ AMOLED display panel made by Samsung. Additionally, the smartphone could be equipped with 20 + 16MP dual cameras and feature 8GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage. Xiaomi said that the phone will come with 10GB RAM and the 8GB RAM model could be the device’s base variant. It could be backed by a 3,850mAh battery. However, the information should be taken with a pinch of salt as none of this is official until the phone is launched. The Mi Mix 3 will also be able to capture super slow-mo recording at 960 fps as the company recently confirmed the feature. A couple of leaked images and videos of the phone suggest that the device will feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and also come with Face Unlock that is touted to be faster. The phone will most likely launch running on MIUI 10, which could be based on Android 9.0 Pie. It could also feature a dedicated button to call up the company’s digital assistant, Xiao AI.
